I think you can see this without an account. (It's marked public.) Be sure you watch the video at least once (and I recommend several times) before you read the story. I did, I I did not see what the video shows. Even after reading the story I found it difficult to see what was really going on when watching the video again.

Both officers handled the situation appropriately based on their frame of reference.

Good thing the cop coming around the corner had a different view.

Yes, but when you watched the video, did you see the gun? Did you think the officer facing him was the one who shot him?

I saw the hand going behind him but didn't see the gun.

I saw the handgun when he fell, not beforehand. That's why I think it was good the cop coming around the corner had a different view.

Well, all the people in the "gibsmedat" crowd who believe they are owed boxes of cigars, 60" TV's, iPhones, and all the other loot (that is why we call it looting) available for the taking from oppressive store owners, plus the other scamps and imps who simply love the fun and excitement of a little rampage to break things and burn buildings, aren't really concerned with reality. This video is as good as any to get the Rhymin' Race Revrums in front of a camera and see if they can generate a little action.

The video is blurry. Didn't see the handgun in his hand until after he fell. Caught it the second time when I went full screen on the video.

I did see the gun the first time, but only after the first officer, bringing up the rear, fired, causing the BGs hands to come into view as he was falling.

I saw the gun as he fell, but not until the first shot was fired.

I then ran back through the video several times to determine what the sequence of shots was. I find myself pretty sure the first shot was fired by the officer behind, but the second may have been the officer in front, and I wonder if the BG fired a shot in the sequence.
