I had to buy another shootin' iron Sunday...

Post by G.C.Montgomery »

What else was I supposed to do when I noticed a barely used Glock 35 with a $399.99 price tag? I was a bit sneaky on this deal though. I didn't tell a buddy why I was buying the gun until after I exploited my employee privileges to slip around the counter and grab the gun for myself. Only when my buddy asked why a 1911 guy was buying another Glock did I point out the price tag. He then ran to the shop owner to try to out bid me but thankfully, the owner said since I already had the gun in my hands that "possession was 9/10ths of the law" and put the kibosh on any bidding wars.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.

I can't blame you. I would have snagged that deal too.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
