They robbed woman in a nail salon in Houston today, going station to station taking purses and cell phones. Shot a manicurist in the back, she is in critical condition.

Third business in the strip center they attempted to rob.

A hard working lady just trying to make a living.

Yeah if you just cooperate, they won't hurt you.

Welcome to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Doors of shops are unlocked and sometimes shops are left unattended. Do you value your right hand for piece of a diamond or an oz of gold? Armed robbery, I guess, has a capital punishment too.

Oh my gosh! I just had a pedi and as I was sitting there with my friend (CH) at my side I was pondering different scenarios. Wondering what would be the best angle/strategy to shoot &/or take cover since there are customers along the wall opposite of me. I decided that I would wait til he got a bit closer and I would angle up towards his head from my sitting position. There would be no taking cover to jump out with wet feet and call attention to myself. In most salons the hand nail stations are at the front of the store and it would take time for them to get back to me. I like to relax and close my eyes and let the massage chair but every time that door opens my eye is on it.

I'm so sad this hardworking woman was shot. I pray she recovers fully.

Thank you so much for sharing this story Philip, it seems I was right to think about my strategy in this semi-vulnerable position.

Ladies have you considered strategy while getting a mani or pedi? Your thoughts? Also, I know some men get them too, but I'm not sure if any of you here would admit to it!
