WTS: Selling some of my surplus rifles. (North Dallas)
Hi All,
Well, the safe is full so I need to sell some items.
- Swiss K31 in excellent condition. $265 (Sold)
- Soviet M44 Mosin. Excellent condition and arsenal refinished. Not to be confused with the lesser condition ones currently for sale by most places on the internet. These are getting tough to find in this condition. $195. (Sold)
- 91/30 1942 Mosin-Nagant. Excellent overall condition, arsenal refinished. $115. (SOLD)
Located in North Dallas area. Pics available upon request.
Thank you

One of the Mosins, not sure what is the difference.

There is a significant difference between the Mosin Rifle and the Carbine M44 version. The M44 has the bayonet attached that folds to the side and is shorter overall length than the rifle version.

Somebody should jump on the K31, they are built well and are great shooters.

91/30 = flamethrowerBeiruty wrote:One of the Mosins, not sure what is the difference.
Seriously, shoot one of those puppies at night. Wow.

I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.

PM sent on the mosins and the tent from the other post.
Re: WTS: Selling some of my surplus rifles. (North Dallas)
Naw, the 91/30's aren't the flamethrowers. If you want fireballs, shoot an M38 or an M44 at night. IIRC, if you use the 147-g ammo, they produce a 3-4 foot long tongue of flame. The longer 91/30 just kinda "sparks" and that's it.OldCannon wrote:91/30 = flamethrowerBeiruty wrote:One of the Mosins, not sure what is the difference.

It is sold but check them out some time. They are an odd caliber (7.5x55) but are extremely accurate and are easy to hand load. The bolt is unique in that it pulls straight back, being Swiss they are well made. The only downside is that mounting optics can get pricey.carlson1 wrote:Is the K31
The short one?
Re: WTS: Selling some of my surplus rifles. (North Dallas)
It's just about a match-grade rifle, is what it is. Any standard .308 bullet can be used in handloading for it, and it will outperform most other rifles with them (IMO). The optics issue can sort-of be solved with a scout-mount that replaces the rear sight with a scope mount, but I've never bothered; regardless of whether or not I can see the holes in the target, I'm at -least- as accurate with open sights as with a scope. (Probably has something to do with me not trying to "correct" for the slight wobble that's -very- visible on a scope, but not noticeable at all with opens)mrvmax wrote:It is sold but check them out some time. I'll take the 91/30 as per PMs
