You may have a different view. May be he will change your mind about being mugged and who is responsible.

I liked the comment that someone left asking that he not reproduce. Youth tend to be stupid but this one takes the cake.

In New York we had a saying that a liberal was a conservative who hadn't been mugged yet.

This kid is apparently a really slow learner who needs to be mugged again with a little more enthusiasm next time in order for a glimmer of reality to shine through his heavily propaganda fogged brain.

This comment was pretty good.
Progressive thinking vs conservative thinking

The answer can be found by posing the following question:

You’re walking down a
deserted street with your wife
and two small children.

Suddenly, a Terrorist with a huge knife
comes around the corner,
locks eyes with you,
screams obscenities,
raises the knife, and charges at you…

You are carrying a
Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot.
You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

Progressive Answer:

* Well, that’s not enough information to answer the question!
* What is a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP?
* Does the man look poor or oppressed?
* Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling?
* Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
* Could we run away?
* What does my wife think?
* What about the kids?
* Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
* What does the law say about this situation?
* Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?
* Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
* Is it possible he’d be happy with just killing me?
* Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
* If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
* Should I call 9-1-1?
* Why is this street so deserted?
* We need to raise taxes, have paint & weed day.
* Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior?
* I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus.
* This is all so confusing!

Conservative Answer:

If he feels as guilty for his station in life as states, why doesn't he move to India and become a wandering holy man?

What's that?

You give away everything you own except the clothes on your back and live a walking nomadic life of begging until you die.

Perhaps, in doing this he can shed his liberal limousine white guilt.

Aggravated robberies is not fun, and in Texas it does justify deadly response. This guy never heard about an old lady shot and killed because she simply hung onto her purse?
Or, how about the 3 victims, lined up and executed ISIS style?
Yeah, I have heard that people, prefer to surrender as victim with no resistance and even if their attacker would execute them. That so extreme that even wild gazelle would fight and try to escape the jaws of the predator.

On the plus side, having read through the comments, they seemed to be running about 98% "what an idiot."

Apparently it was not satire. So terribly sad...

RoyGBiv,

I don't understand your perspective.

Do you think this guy has the right perspective towards his muggers?

That he and people like him should be understanding/empathetic/forgiving when they're mugged?
