Preferred anti-walk pins?

Post by Scott B. »

After confirming that the hammer spring in my latest AR build is installed correctly, I'm going to have to pickup a set of anti-walk pins as the trigger group pin walking out is...not desirable.

I know there's a bunch out there. Got a recommendation?

KNS is probably one of the most popular brands -- I have a set on one of my ar's and never have had an issue -- but also have never had an issue with regular pins walking either

KNS is what I prefer. There are several different generations of the KNS.

Never had one walk out on me either, until today. Also made me reconsider what I carry in my range bag for quick fixes. One of those AR specific multi-tools doesn't sound like such a silly expenditure now.

After looking around, think I'll pick up a KNS Gen2 Mod 2 set.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I had an AR Pistol that you couldn't shoot five rounds through without it walking out. That is when I discoverd KNS.
