Florida LEO Killed

Post by rbwhatever1 »

Another disturbing event. I hope this wasn't an assassination.

TAMPA, Fla. (Reuters) - A Florida police officer was killed in a shooting early on Sunday, and a suspect was in custody, according to a sheriff's office and local media reports.
The shooting occurred in Tarpon Springs, about 30 miles northwest of Tampa, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

I heard. If you have a smartphone look for the Officer Down Memorial Page app. I check it daily.

These are dangerous times for LEOs. I pray that all the LEOs we've come to know on this board remain safe and secure as well as their brothers and sisters in law enforcement. Stay safe. Keep your head on a swivel. ALWAYS wear your vest, and check your mirrors constantly.
