Anti-police activist gets his eyes opened

Post by baldeagle »

This Phoenix activist was invited by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department to participate in use of force training. The results changed his view of police 180 degrees.

Spoiler alert. He was shot in one of the scenarios.

An activist....OK....if he was a "journalist" he'd been thrown out of the guild for acknowledging reality.

I wonder if he will continue to lead protests in the same manner?? I somehow doubt he has completely changed his mind.

I broke into a big smile when the activist said, "it's important to comply". :thumbs2:

The bigger problem isn't with the police, it's with the dumbed down idiots in the public who hyperventilate at that mere mention of a gun and wield their authoritative ignorance like a club.

First of - kudos to the Reverend for admitting that his mind has been changed.

Did anyone else notice how heavy he was sweating? I suspect it really was a true eye-opener for him.

The wife and I were talking about this one today. We came to one possible conclusion that this type of behavior is like the lottery for them. Some might be taking their chances in the hopes of a false arrest or something they can win a big lawsuit or settlement on.

Plus, for all those saying that a BB-gun isn't a real gun, I'm not so sure. It does fire a projectile. How many of you would let someone shoot you with one? It may not be as deadly as a 9mm or .45, but then neither are tasers.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

A BB gun isn't all that powerful. I've been shot with a BB gun. We used to have BB gun fights when I was a kid. As they say, it could put your eye out, but it's not deadly. That said, there are some very powerful pellet guns out there that could be deadly with the right shot placement.
