Actually it is quite valid. The rule does not specify what must not be on a sign, only what MUST BE on a sign. It might also include a Russian version, as long as it has it in English and Spanish.

Gun free signs attract psychotic shooters they don't protect the rest of us
This is a shooting gallery with live targets for them

Okay, assuming that this is an actually posted sign...I bet that about a moment after the worst case scenario unfolded that someone would file a lawsuit related to the owner having invited criminals to come on in. And I bet that would not play well for any jury - that it was a joke that a criminal took as otherwise. At best case this seems to be some sort of a statement being made about the silliness of gun free zones, and in that case it would seem that the owner thinks them to be pointless or whatever....so why then the sign?

You do realize that this "sign" does not exist and will never be posted, right? This was simply sarcasm by the OP to point out how stupid it is for someone to post a 30.06 sign.

Yup. :iagree: Just an attempt at dark humor. OP does say: "Here is an idea for a new sign."

Many times when posts are funny, the responses are much more comical. I think this thread illustrates that ideally.
