I'd kind of like to try this one out. Do you have any feedback on how well it worked, and with what ammo? That seems to be the Solo's weak point, if my research is correct.

My EDC is a Kahr PM9, and I have handled a Solo (once).
I have had good luck with Kimber 1911s. Still own a couple. So I am partial to the brand...
I am in the DFW area...what is your estimated shipping cost to my FFL at zip 75067?

Thank you, Rich

THANK YOU!! I was sorely tempted. I will defer to your elevated tastes and let you take it.

A week later...no response from the OP.
I also emailed him. Again, no response.

I have both. Both are easy to conceal effectively. The Kahr has a long trigger pull, and so for me, I tend to shoot low with it. The Kimber is easier for me to place hits where I want them, however it is more painfull to shoot, definitely not a range gun (neither one is really). The Kimber was really TIGHT out of the box (and that's an understatement) aqnd requires at least 50 rounds to even begin to break-in. No such issues with Kahr. Sub-compacts are always a compromise, pick your poison. :headscratch

Sorry guys, I've been on the road...

I have not fired this one, as yet, it reportedly has had very few rounds put through it.

If I have the chance this weekend, I'll go throw a few different rounds through it for you. I'll try to not have any fun while doing so. :biggrinjester:

My wife has this exact same model. Paperwork from Kimber suggested a 100 rounds of 124g for break in. It took closer too 200 rounds before it became reliable enough for EDC. Its now here favorite EDC but it's very snappy so it's her least favorite range gun.
If this had been in the San Antonio area, I would have snap this one up when it hit the market! I've been looking for a pocket gun for myself.
