She is no doubt being groomed for higher office in this administration.

Two things stand out to me. One, she confronted him about the other woman after they took care of their "business". Two, she actually shot at him? Shouldn't that be more than a domestic violence charge?

Sounds like the White House needs to be more concerned about the mental health of its own staff instead of going after vets guns.

Wasn't her gun. Her boyfriend is a Capitol Police officer. She took his gun and shot at him with it.aaangel wrote:I guess "staffers" are allowed to have a gun. But not the "regular" citizens of Washington dc.

Re: White House Staffer Threatens Cop Boyfriend with own Gun
I was thinking she should be the next director of the ATF, after all she has experience with the illegal possession (under DC law) and use of firearms. Should could setup the next sting operation and call it 2 fast 2 furious...LabRat wrote:For illegal use of firearms?? How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Oh, but she's on paid administrative leave, pending further investigations......Seriously???
Hmmm....on second thought....I'll keep my comments to myself.

A White House spokesperson said Singletary has been placed on unpaid leave, and her access to the White House complex has been revoked until they have more information.

Oh, unpaid instead of administrative leave. Well then, that's a BIG difference!Pawpaw wrote:joe817 wrote:Oh, but she's on paid administrative leave, pending further investigations......Seriously???

Thanks for the correction. I must learn to be more politically correct when quoting stuff like this.

I think the difference he is pointing out is paid vs unpaid. He had a valid point and it has nothing to do with political correctness.

Ok. For me it's a non-issue. The simple fact that she's still employed(for now at least) speaks volumes, wouldn't you agree?mojo84 wrote:joe817 wrote:Oh, unpaid instead of administrative leave.
