Question for CHL instructor

Post by JJ04Taco »

Ok so it's been a long time. I used to post as jj99ss and my last post was in '08.

So my question is this: When exactly can I reapply for a CHL after revocation? I received probation for trespass. (See post below for long story) Is it after the probation is complete? Or after the date of conviction? There is a 6 month difference here. I have all the paperwork of course so I can go back and nail down a date. But I can't find anything more specific under revocation. I know its 5 years before you can apply after conviction, +2 if revocation was involved. Basically 2015 will be my go time.

Your best bet would probably be to contact DPS and ask them.

It would be from the date of conviction.
