30.06 Complaints to AG - Any Responses?
From the several threads here it seems that there have been multiple complaints filed with the AG's office but haven't yet seen any reports of responses. Has anyone who has filed actually heard anything back yet? And by "anything" I mean from an acknowledgement to any actual status of your complaint.

Re: 30.06 Complaints to AG - Any Responses?
I faxed my complaint to the AG for the Fort Worth Zoo on Wednesday, Oct 7th. I have not heard back, but I expect it to be a couple of weeks before I am contacted. I'm not sure, but I know two others sent complaints to the City of Fort Worth but I don't think they sent their complaint to the AG yet. Charles said not to send a whole bunch to the AG all at once. We don't want to inundate his office with cross complaints for the same location.

Thanks for your update. I wish that we had a way to track these.

I tend to disagree. If the AG gets 20 complaints on one place on 20 different dates, it would be apparent that the offending entity has absolutely no regard for the law by refusing to take down their sign when notified 20 times.rtschl wrote:I faxed my complaint to the AG for the Fort Worth Zoo on Wednesday, Oct 7th. Re: 30.06 Complaints to AG - Any Responses?
I think at first we give the AG's office time for a couple of reasons. I want his office to see that not all gun owners are like OCT crowd. I'm willing to give this time to be addressed so long as it is not drawn out. The AG only needs one complaint to act on each location.
Lastly, I realize that though I am passionate about this issue, and especially the Fort Worth Zoo because of their tactics and behavior, the AG's office has more responsibilities than enforcing this one statute. I'm also certain that some of those are of a higher priority. So I agree with Charles on this about not inundating the AG's office - yet. Let's give his office a chance and benefit of the doubt about how quickly they respond to enforce the statute.

I received an email just a few minutes ago that my complaint has been forwarded for review.

I filed my complaint about the Pasadena guns how on October 4. I received an E-mail from the AG office on October 5 that acknowledged my complaint. I have not heard anything from them since.Glockster wrote:From the several threads here it seems that there have been multiple complaints filed with the AG's office but haven't yet seen any reports of responses. I have looked for a procedure for tacking the status of AG complaints. I have found none.
