We take a risk every single day.

We take a risk every single day.
Every single day that we put a gun in our holster, we run the risk of having to use it. We also run the risk of confrontation with law enforcement upon arrival to our aid. This risk is nothing new, and is no different in a classroom than at the Cinemark movie theatre. I'm sick of people using this argument. I am going to continue to take that risk, because I know that the odds of me being able to defend myself successfully are much higher than the police shooting me on arrival. You really shouldn't even have your gun out (typically) when LE arrives, but in the instance that you do, simply disarming yourself immediately should alleviate 95% of this risk. On top of that dispatch should know what you look like/what you are wearing/ where you are, and should be relaying this information to the LE. This just really is not a problem.
