Waller County Sheriff has 8 Guns Stolen from Truck

Post by howdy »

This article is not as complete as the morning newpaper. The stolen guns include a HK UMP 45 submachine gun, a 300 Blackout Rifle and another version of the AR-15 along with 4 handguns.....all unsecured in his marked Truck. :banghead:

Where are you getting your information on gun models, as neither article linked mention them? Then the 2nd article you linked says 10 guns. It looks like they actually broke into 2 trucks, and got 8 from one and 10 from another in the back parking lot of Saltgrass in Katy.

I live in the Houston area and receive the Houston Chronicle at my home. A front page article on this theft in this mornings paper listed the guns that were stolen. (at least it mentioned the HK and two AR types.) The other two were in a Waller County Commissioners vehicle and unsecured.

"The thieves absconded with a lethal cache of weapons, including an HK UMP 45 submachine gun that is fully automatic and can fire 600 rounds a minute. They also snared a 300 Blackout rifle, another version of the AR-15 semi-automatic used in last week's San Bernardino, Calif., massacre, and six other handguns."

Hhhmmm, LEO's should be horribly chagrined.

What?

You think thieves are going to be intimidated by your vaunted LEO status and not steal from you? Most especially if they're terrorists/criminals?

What arrogant morons!
