Bought a Bersa THUN380MG Thunder 380 Series 7+1 380ACP 3.5" Gold Controls

Bought one of these and it arrived today. I picked it up after work, ran home to clean it, and then off to the range. The range closed today at 4:00pm and I got there right around 3:00pm .... well after some socializing I figured I would at least have time to fire a box of ammo through it to see how it was.

I was amazed! I really like this gun! I fired the first box and it was only 3:30pm, so I bought another box (50 rounds) and promised I would be out of there in time so everyone could go home.

Summary: 100 rounds through it - no FTF, FTE, stuff like that. Accurate as can be, feels good, looks good, I give it a a definite thumbs up!

Anyone have one? Do you feel the same as I do?

My wife used to have one years ago. I remember it being a fun gun to shoot.

i have had a thunder for 5 years, it shoots low the first rounds after the 9 and 45. But still a wonderful little carry pistol.

plus lifetime warranty through eagle imports

It is a ppk/s clone. They not to bad of a clone. I would opt for the bersa over the wather that was made by smith.

I really like mine and I actually found this by accident. It first got my attention with the gold accents. I then read reviews and I liked what I read, i.e. nice trigger pull, accurate, reliable, stuff like that. Now, I need find a holster and I think I need to get a magazine minus the grip extension for concealed carry. Wonder if Academy is open today!? LOL

Don't have this model (no gold) but when it was new (about 6 years ago) I had a problem with the decock lever, it would stick. Took it to Gander Mountain (authorized repair facility) and they supposedly fixed it. Still didn't work properly, googled the problem and fixed it myself. Good gun though, shoots where I point it. I think it's a good value. One other problem was with a certain brand of ammo wouldn't feed (can't remember which one, was inexpensive) it was slightly longer in overall length. Still I like the gun. Yours looks great with the gold.

I have the Bersa .380 cc version. Best cc gun I've ever had.

If ever I decide on a BUG ,that gold accented Bersa is a beauty.

Hhmmm, I may have decided I need a BUG after all.

Carrying 2 Glock 19's or a Ruger SP101 .357 as a BUG is just too heavy.

I had a bersa thunder 380 as my first carry gun. It is what I took my chl with. Had one hiccup with it. Was shooting some dirty cheap ammo, and after 200 rounds had a failure to feed. I assume because the feed ramp was pitch black. Had it for a few years before I sold it. Guy was picking it up for his wife.
