I used to shoot them all the time and stopped due to the distance and no one to go with, if yall are going so will I.I was a member there for along time before I moved away.
Do they still have a single/double stack classes ?
If anyone would be coming from east of Dallas I would gladly share a ride.

Course of fire is explained twice
1) First time, by Tom at the shooters meeting.
2) 2nd time, at the shooting bay of each stage.

New shooter virtually never shoot the first of the line at the stage, they usually shoot in the middle of the shooting squad. Thus, the new shooter would have enough time to understand the course of fire. Also, new shooters are allowed to shoot from the low ready, instead of drawing from their holsters. Only side holsters are allowed and there is no cross draw. Holsters are straight pull up. No touching for the unloaded firearms unless the shooter is at the firing line under the direction of the Ranger Officer.

It is to of fun and a chance to try some personal defense shooting exercises. I will be available to answer any question at the range or on the forum.

I am certain many will like and we will a regular shooter at DPC.

How long do these events usually go? When does registration close?

I'm going to try and make it with a buddy.

Sounds fun, but I do not know if I am physically able to do the moving and shooting at this time. I have been out of the wheel chair completely for about 5 years, but still have to use a cane at times. This sure sounds like a blast.

Usually we are done by 1:30PM.
Sign in is around 10:30AM, 11:00 AM is the shooting meeting. Immediately after the shooters meeting we head to the shooting bays.
Of course you can arrive earlier, if you want.
