Man Pulls Gun In Road Rage Incident Nevada

We only see a small bit of what happened but in my opinion they were both in the wrong. Things could have easily turned out a lot differently. In case yall didn't catch it. He still had his finger on the trigger even when he was not on target. In that kind of heated situation he could of easily had an accidental discharge towards the vehicle in front of him.

Truck driver didn't pull the gun because he was "startled," he pulled it because he was out of control. IMHO, the biker didn't nothing that justified that response.

Lethal force is not justified in any state(to my knowledge), because someone pops a wheelie and then taps on your window. In situations like this the pedal on the right is your friend. Just move on....

I agree this video is probably not the whole story but to pull that weapon the way he did on that guy I believe was wrong.

Wouldn't the appropriate thing for the guys in the truck to do is call 911 and report the motorcyclists driving erratically and dangerously? Even if he did get his gun nearby and ready, he should have never presented it and aimed it at the motorcyclist. That was the result of pure out of control emotional anger.

What a dumb and utterly irresponsible move by the driver of the pickup truck.
Seems he just wanted to be a bully and "straighten" that "immature" biker's attitude, without any regard for safety of bystanders (we don't know who else was in the crosshairs potentially on the other side of the biker), or the safety of his passenger or even his own.

He should have just moved on.

Hot heads should not carry, that's all.

He should be arrested for deadly conduct. People like him give the antis ammunition to try and pass laws against our second amendment rights.

I just hope both parties get whats coming to them. The biker released the full unedited version of what happened to the police. The driver of the truck should probably have a felony against him. The motorcyclist probably a traffic citation for reckless driving. That is a course if the story is accurate on the account of the motorcyclist. I was just amazed at the utter lack of control of how he handled that weapon.

According to the report, there were over a dozen motorcyclists. This sounds eerily similar to the incident in New York a couple years ago where the bikers slashed an SUV's tires and ultimately dragged the driver out of his vehicle and badly beat him.

I'll reserve judgment until more facts come out.

I can't think of anything that justify the use of force, bad situation, bad decision. Based on the hollering back and forth, clearly they were both escalated. Bad time to make a decision like that for road rage.

I agree with others. He was angry & out of control.

I am sure that he will get charged. This is exactly what the antis will use against us, just notice we ADVOCATE personal responsibility! This is a stark contrast from those who feel they shouldn't be held responsible for their actions.

The jackass friends are as much to fault for esclating the anger. It was the front seat passenger who yelled for the driver to get his gun. Driver/CHL at a minimum needs anger management classes, conflict de escalation & needs to reconsider his friends.

There have been times when even the police have pulled guns in anger and it's just as wrong then. Calm level heads should prevail.

Motorcycle drivers who pull these stunts on the road frustrate us all, but pulling a gun, or swerving like that one guy did recently is not the answer.

Just keep yourself out of their way, and if they wreck and get hurt or killed, it'll be on them...not you.
