JSC FCU (Houston area)

Post by FL450 »

I was visiting my local East Pearland branch and noticed the 3006 sign had been replaced by a 3007 sign . I have been told all branches have done this.
Good news as not all locations have full time security by off duty LEO's.

There was no entry for the East Pearland location on 3006.com so I made one stating the change. I have not verified all the other locations have followed suit as I was informed so I have not made comments or changes to the other branches listed on 3006.com.

Last time I went to the League City location (Off 96), they were 30.06 posted. I will check later today to confirm the change.

I went by the JSC FCU in Friendswood today, February 22, 2016. It has both 30.06 and 30.07 signs. The 30.06 sign is the updated version. The listing on texas3006.com dates back to 2009.

If you look at the outside door, there is only a 30.07 sign. The building has two sets of doors. You have to pass through the first set of doors before you see the 30.06 sign that is posted at the second set or doors and is valid.

I wonder if they did not remove the 3006 sign, just placed the 3007 sign.

JSC FCU in Friendswood added the 30.07 sign and replaced the old 30.06 sign that had been there for years with the new 30.06 sign with the new language prescribed by the 2015 legislature.

No, but that is not far from my office. I will try to get by there this week.

I drive past the one on Dixie Farm Road almost every day. They still had both signs up yesterday.

I went by JSC FCU on Gemini. It is indeed posted with both 30.06 and 30.07. The 30.06 is the new and improved 2016 version.

I can't imagine that they would go to the trouble of replacing their 30.06 signs if they planed to take them down.

I am beginning to thing the branch manager at my branch listened to my complants because of part time security only and placed just the 3007 sign.
