Just curious if anyone will be going. SA get's a two-fer this month with the SAXET show. It'll be at Alzafar Shrine tomorrow and Sunday.
I might be tempted to pick up a P-3AT if I can find exactly what I want for a decent price (hard chrome finish, 2nd gen).

Well I made the purchase today. It didn't have a hard chrome slide, but when i saw it, I thought it was equally sexy, if not more so.
Here's the new addition next to my other (only) carry gun. Been using the OWB holster the last couple weeks. What a relief! Smart Carry's are good and all, but I can finally go out to eat without hanging a 4lb weight on my lower stomach. I might start marketing something like that for weight control. You feel full much faster!
Also picked up a Galco horse hide pocket holster. I've had it in my back pocket almost continuously since I bought it and it's definitely comfortable. I can hardly feel it's there. Can't wait to go shoot it.

Thanks!
I also forgot to mention that my wife got really excited when I showed her this gun. Whenever we pass by the gun counter at a store, and I stop for a few seconds to see what's available, I always say something like, "Hey, that's a nice gun for you... I'll get you that for your birthday," but she's always been uninterested and will just respond with a sarcastic "Whatever." She actually wants one of these little Kel-Tecs though and wants to go shoot it with me! This might be the gun that inspires her to get her CHL. I bring it up every once in a while, but she thinks as long as I'm around she won't need one. But I'm not around her 100% of the time. Might have to buy another one. I'm not sharing this one!

The little Kel-Tec is not a range gun by any means. The first time I fired mine was an eye opener! Not painful or unpleasant, just a little snappier than I had expected. Much more recoil than a Bersa Thunder firing the same round for example.
Make sure she has a firm grip on that little cannon before she lights the fuse....wouldn't want to scare her away on the first trip to the range.

Yeah, I've already warned her about the recoil. She's fired guns many times before, just doesn't want to have to deal with carrying. Such a small gun might make it easier for her to imagine. She see's all that I go through putting on and taking off holsters and just doesn't want the hassle I imagine.
Also, just did the fluff and buff tonight. Now I have mirror shine in all the right places. The action feels smoother, too. I'm sure it'll benefit from a couple hundred rounds of break-in as well.
