I apologize if this question has been asked; I found lots of SIMILAR questions but not exactly this:
I have a nolo contendere conviction (it came with community supervision, community service, etc.) of a class B misdemeanor in Hood County from 3 years ago, for driving with a suspended license with prior offense. I've been squeaky clean ever since. I've been seeing some funny things about the nolo contendere thing and how that works. According to Art. 27.02 of the Texas penal code it can't be used against me in certain circumstances... Does anybody know if this would apply? If it doesn't, has anybody had any luck/experience with getting those "set aside" in these circumstances? Would getting it set aside allow me to get my LTC? Thanks in advance!

Re: Class B Misdemeanor
You would definitely be disqualified for 5 years. You might see about getting an order of non-disclosure or expungement. A "set aside" if a Texas charge would clear you too.
