New York Charity

Post by G26ster »

Those evil, potential carpetbagging New Yorkers are at it again!

From USA Today: "A New York-based charity raised money to pay off the mortgages for the widows of two Dallas police officers who were killed in July."

Despite our experience founded suspicions, not all things, people of organizations form New York are from the dark side.

Just a lot of them.

These folks look to be doing good work.

Good for them, I know we here in Texas and on this forum, often look at the folks from New York, as uncaring, left wing, foreigners, but, they are fully aware of the dangers of police work, and have also faced losses due to the criminal element. God Bless these folks. This is a great thing, and will guarantee, some security for the families affected.

It is a great thing those folks did. A third widow doesn't own a house, but they said it will be paid for if and when she decides on one. This is a charity foundation started in the name of a FireFighter who died on 9.11.

Yes, my post was perhaps too sarcastic. My apologies. I just wanted to show that often all New Yorkers are painted with too broad a brush. Here's a NY state electorial map that may prove surprising to some. You can click on each county to see the results.
