Looking For Gun Facts...

Post by Wildscar »

Wife is writing a research paper and we need some places to get hard facts about guns. If yall can provide any places that would be a good place I would appreciate it. The title id going to be "Gun Control Does Not Mean Crime Control" Thanks in advance.

And, most of the recitals of sources are of independant, government sponsored reports. As much as I like John Lott, I feel much of his research is a lightning rod for criticism, while US Government reports stand up to much closer scrutiny.

Here are some crime stats in Texas for 2005 that seems to be the latest info.

Not much to do with gun facts I guess.

You have to decide what is credible and how to rank credibility. Associate the references with credibility if you can. That will make a stronger paper that is more difficult to shoot holes through.

This is THE site for your FACTS...print it out and smack and anti upside the head..because no matter how you lay the facts out to them they wont change their limited and anti-gun point of view

Also, don't forget to look around on the NRA web site. You are likely to find usable facts on that web site or at least links. We used them a lot up in Maine during some pretty heated debates in the state legislature a few years ago.

The web site below has links to other publican titles that may be intersting and useful to you.
