Too bad... looks beautiful. Was it a non functional [actual] pistol or was it a decorative item that looked like a pistol?

I was given the chance to call someone to pick it up. It is was safely sent back to my home. Few mins later, I found out the official who was operating the scanner is a buddy of my cousin at the military boot camp. Small world of Lebanon.
The trigger functions and drops the hammer. I assume a part was removed or someone welded the part where the spark from the primer would ignite the black powder. A screw was added to block any projectile from reaching down the barrel.
I think it is a disabled black powder pistol.

It may be nonfunctional but the artwork on the stock is nice.
