If anyone needs a great way to cut foam for a gun case, here is a good article with photos.

that is a very handy tip. I have modified a couple of Pelican cases to fit some gps equipment I carry quite a bit, and have one Pelican case left that appears to be the size as the one in the write up that's just waiting for a custom foam job. The others I did were very amatuerish from just cutting strips and gluing in place enough to keep everything from banging around. That example shown in the write up makes the final product a thing of beauty.

Thanks, I came across this a few months back when searching foam cutting but couldn't remember which site. Excellent write-up, now it's just a matter of deciding on what case and cutter to buy.
