Gunman Shoots 4 Outside Dallas Cafe

DALLAS -- One person was killed and three others wounded in a Sunday morning shooting outside a Dallas cafe, police said.

Police were called to the Sankofa Arts Cafe on the corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Harwood Street about 5:20 a.m. for a report of a man with an assault rifle.

When they arrived, they found four people shot by the gunman, who remained on the loose Sunday afternoon, police said.


One of the victims died, one was listed is critical condition and two were in stable condition, police said.

Police were searching for the gunman, who fled the scene with another man, they said.
