Shooting in Dallas on DART Train

I couldn't find this posted anywhere else. Apparently there was a shooting on a DART train and the LTC holder was arrested, then released. It will be interesting to watch this play out. The shooter is claiming self defense.

When I lived in the area, I rode the train to work... and carried every single day. Saw a few harry incidents on the trains, but fortunately, was never part of them.

I wish they wouldn’t identify the shooter/victim like that. This guy is going to be inundated by the media and all kinds of people good and bad. He’s gonna need help.

I agree but unless the victim is a minor or victim of sexual assault they cant' legally withhold the victims name at least as I understand it.

Crime reports are a matter of public record otherwise.

Sounds like a very clear cut case and a good shoot.

Another public service shooting of a predator.

Hopefully he never gets a chance to become a repeat offender.
