Good one 9mm! I'm sure my fiance would love for me to 'take the initiative' and get this for our wedding cake come our day 9/22/07!

Question...

I'm new here...This is a great website with lots of knowledgable people with great facts and opinions...I come here all the time...

But...

Is it really ok to carry a gun to a wedding???

The preacher has carried one at every wedding he has done since going 24-7 in 2001.
That is at Church weddings or outside weddings.

I really dont cultivated weddings but if I ever do another one it will not be posted 30-06 either.

Funerals toooo.

Why not carry at a funeral? Wedding? Church? It's no different than going anywhere else. A wedding or other event doesn't offer you any more protection than some other place. Only problem is HOW to carry.......a wedding would be tough if you planed on drinking at the reception and flailing around on the dance floor

I dont have that problem. If there is going to be alcohol & or a dance they need a different preacher. I have said to several wedding party applicants.
"Calm down. I am not condemning anyone for drinking at a wedding & doing what you want to do. I just said I would not do the service. Dont condemn me for what I do not want to do."

Weddings are easy conceal. One of the VERY FEW places I wear a coat.

In my early days in West Virginny, I went to several weddings where guns were carried!

Mostly shotguns,

carried by the Bride's family.
be safe,
be prepared,

I'm glad to see the cake topper couple had their fingers off the trigger.
