Reputable US Militaria Collector / Buyer in Dallas Area?

Post by Middle Age Russ »

A friend of mine has been asked if he can help a widow sell a number of firearms her husband had collected over the years. Does anyone know of a reputable dealer/buyer/collector in the Dallas area that might be interested in assessing the value of and perhaps buying this collection? I was shown a list of the guns, but no pictures or any information pertaining to condition of them. The things I remember from the list of around 25 guns includes the following:

US Springfield 1903
US 1917
US Krag-Jorgensen -- multiple
US Springfield models from the 1860s
US Springfield 1873
Harpers Ferry 1819
US M1 Garand - Springfield
US M1 Garand - Inland
US M1 Carbine - Inland
Winchester Model 12 16 ga.
Remington 550
Remington 740 - 30-06
H&R semi-auto pistol
Colt Navy Pistol

There were a few other guns as well that did not seem to stick in my mind.

If you know of a reputable person or business (particularly one that you have done business with), please forward particulars. Thanks in advance.

I would let Roy look at all of it. You may get a better price.
