TX: Teen attempts to rob license holder during OfferUp meet

I guess "OfferUp" is an app that works somewhat like Craigslist, bring buyers and sellers together. And robbers and won't-be victims, apparently.

In Galveston County a man with LTC found something he wanted on OfferUp. Met with seller, 17yo who tried to rob man and got shot instead. Lifeflighted to hospital, died anyway.

Article says sheriff's office believe man fired in self-defense.

Our local police department has a location for sales such as this in their parking lot but they don't allow firearm, drugs or alcohol sales. I need to ask our local police chief why legal items can not be purchased in their "safe" spot.
