I'm curious as to what they were thinking, typically places like physical therapy don't have alot of cash on hand, they deal in credit/debit cards, checks so either were totally clueless or they knew something about that particular business the average citizen did not!

I'm sort of surprised that a physical therapy office wasn't posted. Most offices in the medical field are. Maybe the LTC was outside the building?

I attended 4 rehabs. Two were either in a hospital or was a hospital. However, two were in a strip mall location and were not posted. I don’t understand hitting a PT office as mine were always covered by insurance and there did not appear to be any large amount of cash present.

My guess, two choices:
1. There's more to the story about everything going on in the physical therapy clinic than is being reported
2. Thieves aren't the brightest bulbs in the string.

Maybe there are drugs kept there? Pain killers, etc? (If there's a doctor or PA as part of the practice...). Just a thought.

Nothing aside from creams, maybe steroid injections and potentially Rx samples I would imagine.

Woman with LTC shot at robbers. Guy with two gunshot wounds turned up later at nearby hospital. A second woman at scene was grazed by bullet when bad guys fired.
