They were looking for something specific, perhaps a safe they "heard" the homeowner/businessman has at home "full of cash and jewelry." Probably why there was a dolly in the driveway. Current owner has only been there a year and a half. Maybe this crew had been 'away' during that time and thought they were robbing the previous occupant?
