MSM sources seem to not report that she was a Gun control activist. The Washington Examiner and some other smaller on line sources do include that.

What I'm finding more and more is that many gun control activists project their lack of self control on others. The thought is along the lines of, "If I had a gun, I would do X and that would be bad. Everyone else must think/feel exactly the same way, therefore guns are bad and nobody should have them."

Perhaps, if you have the realization that you can't be trusted with a firearm, you shouldn't get one. Don't project your inability to control yourself on everyone else.

RIP children of a gun control activist who couldn't control herself.

In the same manner, I expect most of the slimeballs who report citizens under the red flag laws are the ones who need to be red flagged. Kind of like swatters and antifascist fascists.

The anti firearms people would say this proves their point, if firearms weren’t legal then the mother wouldn’t have been able to shoot them. Totally ban civilian ownership of firearms and no more children will be murdered by their mother, with a firearm.

Better ban water too, Susan Smith killed her two toddlers by drowning them.

Yes, I believe projection is a huge element of the anti-liberty types.
