TX: 80 yo Grams stabbed to death by robber out on felony PR bonds...

Post by ELB »

...and he has 67 arrests on his record. Sixty-seven. (PR bond means he was let out on personal recognizance -- he didn't have to put money down, just promise to show up in court).
Court records reveal Lewis was released from custody at a psychiatric hospital last month on a personal bond for charges of felony theft and assault on a peace officer— breaking a jailer’s nose.
Lewis "asked people for money at knifepoint" before coming across Rosalie Cook in the parking lot of a Walgreens about 10:30 am. He stabbed her in the chest, then rifled her car.

Other people flagged down a police officer who happened to drive up to do some shopping, and he confronted Lewis. Lewis refused to drop his knife and the cop shot him twice, killing him.

Good riddance.

Now we know the rest of the story.

This wasn’t available when it first happened.

Even Art was hot about this one on TV.

Geez.

The judge who released this criminal from jail should be charged as accessory to murder.

Who doesn't think someone arrested 67 times isn't a permanent threat to society.

This is not someone who can be reformed, or should get one more chance.

Everyone in the prosecutorial side or on the judicial side needs to be arrested as an accessory to this grannies murder.

Oh, where's the humanitarian in you? Doesn't everyone deserve a 68th chance? :mad5

The judge or judges responsible for releasing him without restrictions are guilty of criminal negligence, possibly even manslaughter. They should also be sued in civil court.

I was thinking Accessory after the fact!
But what do I know!
Government, like fire is a dangerous servant and a fearful master

Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here- John Parker
