Your SSN isn't even required on Form 4473 at a dealer. No one requires a copy of the SS card.

You're right, #8 on the 4473 says it's an option but is suggested to be on the form to prevent misidentification.

There are actually about 18 ranges in and around Amarillo, most built/sponsered by private clubs but sell memberships. The ranges in Lubbock are thicker in numbers and better in quality than most of the AMA ranges.
