She puts her crooked finger on the trigger and squeezes. You don't want to be in front of it. Seriously though, she has little strength but found a 380 she can rack the slide (she want's to be able to reload)

Fingerprints when you dont have fingerprints
My Mom is on her first renewal. She took the class mid September. Sent everything in. Prints (from previous approved chl) were rejected two weeks later. My mom had her prints redone and letters from her doctor and a retired police officer stating the condition of her hands would not allow clear ...

Re: HPD Citizen Patrol program
In my city The Officer in charge of Neighborhood watch told me there is nothing he could do EXCEPT remove a person of their offical crimewatch duties. They could take away the magnetic crime watch sticker you stick on your car and not allow you to be part of the patrol if they wanted to.

Refer her to the Civilian Gun Self-Defense Blog. She can read about thousands of individuals who protected themselves with a gun.

What department was this?
The fine officers of Melissa Texas.
Yes, everyone is ok. Now just waiting to hear the "damage" from the insurance agent... :ack:
I'm glad to hear they have some fine officers.
This person wasn't quite as lucky with his stop in Melissa

Re: Dog's Death Dogs Traffic Cop
Sorry, have to disagree. The officer could have handled it much better. A little compassion and understanding go along way. He had none. It appears he threw common sense out too.tallmike wrote:Im with the officer. A choking dog is no reason to go 100mph down the highway.

Re: First LEO contact - disarmed and unloaded
I may be new to this game, but I fully expect to be disarmed anytime I have broken the law. Even for a simple traffic stop, i would expect the officer to err on maximizing his safety.
