Sam Houston boat tour

Post by striker55 »

Going to the Port of Houston tomorrow for the Sam Houston boat ride. I have looked at the web site and don't see anything about CHL carrying. Can someone say for sure if I'm OK to carry?

The port is a twic certified location with US Customs on site. There is a 30.06 sign posted at the main office in La porte, But I dont know about the boat tour location. If your launching from City docks it is posted there as well and you will be checked at the gate.

Is the Port of Houston owned by the State of Texas or subdivision thereof(i.e. Houston)? If so, I guess you could carry past the 30.06. TWIC certified or no unless it's Federal property, then 18 USC 926 would apply to the Federal buildings.
