There was just a shootout within the last few hours. Happened .7 miles from campus.

Article very weak on details or I would post the link.

15-20 shots fired. Police arrived as everyone was fleeing by car.

Regardless of what anyone says (TAM), applying for a federal contract to do research, or design a product , or provide a service means you are working to deliver a product or service, you are not receiving funding to operate your institution, like public universities do.

You are right they did make it official last week. However Baylor did announce last fall that they were going to claim their right as a private university and were not going to allow CC on campus.

As a Baylor alumni, I was severely disappointed in this decision. I exchanged several emails with Ken Starr. They made a coward's decision (albeit one all private colleges made).

Post the emails, or at least the bodies of them after redacting personally identifying information
