There was just a shootout within the last few hours. Happened .7 miles from campus.

You are right they did make it official last week. However Baylor did announce last fall that they were going to claim their right as a private university and were not going to allow CC on campus.oohrah wrote:Wow, way to hijack the thread guys.
First off, Baylor did not announce last fall. The official decision was not made until the Regents approved it last week.
Regardless of what anyone says (TAM), applying for a federal contract to do research, or design a product , or provide a service means you are working to deliver a product or service, you are not receiving funding to operate your institution, like public universities do.
Can we get this back to a discussion of campus carry?

As a Baylor alumni, I was severely disappointed in this decision. I exchanged several emails with Ken Starr. They made a coward's decision (albeit one all private colleges made).
