Trump selects climate skeptic to head EPA transition team.

This is not necessarily the guy who will have the EPA, it's the guy in charge of the team to find a guy to head to EPA as well as set it's policies. He may very well end up as head of the EPA though.

Warning: the linked article has trump's one word opinion of the climate change movement, an opinion that coincides with mine, but it's not one that would make it through this forum's language filter.
This brought a little tear of joy to my eye. Or was it a tear of schadenfreude?

On the 60 Minutes interview this evening (in which, BTW, Leslie Stahl was leftist-media contentious several times) President-elect Trump stated that he will not take the federally-established salary for President of the United States. He will take a $1 annual salary instead.

So he saves the taxpayers over $1.6 million before even taking office.
I might have chosen to take the salary and donate it to veterans charities.

Ben Carson has stated that he will not accept a Cabinet position from Trump. He feels, "he couldn't run an entire agency with his lack of government experience". He did say, however, that he would accept an advisory role.

At least he knows his limits, and that is very respectable.
He said, however, he could be president. :headscratch

Yes. all "true" conservatives should shun Trump so he'll appoint Christie and others like him to be AG or SCOTUS.

Would really like to see Cruz and Gowdy as AG or SCOTUS Justice. Doesn't matter which to me.
