It wasn't Jimmy Stewart in jail making a rifle that I remember? Say it isn't so.

I just watched this video the other day, right after it was released, and I was fascinated ... ESPECIALLY the part about hand-cutting the finished bolt, without any engineering drawings, because the dude had the precise measurements in his head.

It really is, and I’m very happy to have an example of the breed. My 1943 Inland, shown with my dad's 1943 Ithaca 1911A1, his sidearm in WW2.

I do believe that Williams was the main designer of the Winchester Model 50.

I’ve never seen one of these until now, but I looked it up. It was a very clean looking design. Were they any good?
