Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
Good luck finding one; I haven't see one outside of a museum in years. Finding one with the case and ammo/rockets will be even more difficult.

Thank you. I'll contact both sellers now.
Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
Once you assemble a Gyrojet collection (pistols and carbine), maybe you can go for a Dardick and start collecting trounds.

Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
Wasn't there a large caliber (13mm?) version of the Gyrojet that is now considered a destructive device?

Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
I believe I read they reduced the caliber to comply with restrictions.
Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
What was the original intention for this type of round?
Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
Correct, they reduced from 13mm to 12mm to get it under .50 caliber. GCA '68 made anything over .50 caliber a "destructive device".rm9792 wrote:I believe I read they reduced the caliber to comply with restrictions.
Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
Low noise, low recoil, and more energy than a .45ACP once it gets up to speed. The wedge shape of the carbine is pretty cool looking, too.fboyles wrote:What was the original intention for this type of round?

Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
it looks like something out of an old Sci Fi movie?
Re: WTB Gyrojet Pistol
