Good luck finding one; I haven't see one outside of a museum in years. Finding one with the case and ammo/rockets will be even more difficult.

Once you assemble a Gyrojet collection (pistols and carbine), maybe you can go for a Dardick and start collecting trounds. ;-)

Wasn't there a large caliber (13mm?) version of the Gyrojet that is now considered a destructive device?
Original CHL: 2000: 56 day turnaround
1st renewal, 2004: 34 days
2nd renewal, 2008: 81 days
3rd renewal, 2013: 12 days

I believe I read they reduced the caliber to comply with restrictions.

Correct, they reduced from 13mm to 12mm to get it under .50 caliber. GCA '68 made anything over .50 caliber a "destructive device".

Low noise, low recoil, and more energy than a .45ACP once it gets up to speed. The wedge shape of the carbine is pretty cool looking, too.
