Here's an interesting update. A protest march is scheduled for today. We'll see what, if anything, happens.

The paper said that thousands of protesters showed up for the march. It's just too bad that Al Sharpton was front and center.

I was more impressed, WildBill, by the fact that the walk appears to have been largely silent and well-behaved, as requested by the organizers. I must admit that I suspect that there were many in our great country ready to weigh in this morning if the walk resulted in rioting -- their silence now is overwhelming. The few minor disruptions were blamed by a member of the media on the "Occupy" crowd, who were arguably meddling in someone else's affair.

Like him or not, Al Sharpton is both a representative of and leader of his people.
