Are you removing it from the barrel?
If so, why?

Lose that nickel plated sissy pistol and get yourself a Glock!

Then you won't have this problem.

No, it is still attached, I removed the barrel, guide rod all that good stuff to clean it. When I put it all back together, I am leaving the barrel link hanging downwards with the guide rod semi-cricle thing(technical name for it) against it. When I do this, the guide rod wants to get off track and I have to kind of put a little upwards pressure on the guiderod to slide it back into the slide. Is this corect? I can take a pic if it helps...

I hold it upside down with the link resting against the barrel and put the frame on while holding upside down. It is a trick a 1911 shooter showed me.

It helps me.

What you're describing is normal, one hint is to do it upside down, and not compress the spring until the slide is on the frame.

Isn't Glock the one with the manicure scissors where a trigger should be?
Ø resist

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

Always did wonder what that little stickie out part was on that plastic gun. If I need mine I aint gonna be worryin about my fingernails.

Besides, I play a guitar so I keep them trimmed so they dont ever get in the way.

if you finger-pick, you need long nails on your right hand.
