And I don't know why it matters it was a Glock. It wasn't the gun's fault its owner is negligent.
I guess if it was a brand other than Glock we might expect a failure to fire. Because it was a Glock it always goes bang?
Nah, everyone knows 1911 carriers are smarter than that. :leaving

:rolll
Idk, I seem to remember a guy making a YouTube video who shot himself in the leg quick drawing his 1911.

That was only because he had been doing it with his Glock earlier in the day and it corrupted him. :evil2:

Warning, bad words said in video when he shoots himself. ;-)

All those extra moving parts and thingies on the 1911 probably confused him. (In reality it was probably that Serpa holster along with switching weapon systems during the day.)

DocV, the light switched on. I get what you're saying now. ;-)

Actually this was in Waco. Yeah, I know....
Yeah, but HE was from Georgia. You can take the redneck out of the state, but you can't....... :banghead:

Au contrare Pierre, In my 12 years of running the IDPA club at my gun club there have been three NDs all by middle aged men shooting - - - - - wait for it!!!!!!!!! KIMBER 1911 PISTOLS! most of the Glock shooters seem to be serious gunners whereas new shooter MAWG and 95% of "veterans" with 1911s are totally brain dead when it comes to trigger discipline. :headscratch :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :mad5

IT WAS A JOKE and a dig at Glocksters. I frequently carry a Model 26 or 19, as well as a 1911 or a Kahr PM9 depending on my mode of dress. I agree it's trigger discipline.

That's why I carry a baby Glock. That way, if I accidentally let one fly during quick draw practice the bullet won't travel as far.
