Tucker Gunleather: Raising the bar...

Post by The Marshal »

I started to title this "Crazy Bob Goes Insane" in reference to those old commercials, but was afraid that Rob would throw a holster form at me. ;-)

Ok, so we saw the earlier post where CJLandry was all excited about his new Tucker holster, and that it was pretty and all, blah blah blah. Worse still, CJ posted pictures of his new baby, and now I envy and hate him completely.

Let me land the plane. She Who Must Be Obeyed, also known as the CFO, requires a RIO report on all items subject to purchase prior to said purchase. And, unlike the DISD and their "Hey everybody gets a creditcard." mentality, I have to account for all of these purchases. Sooo, the drawback was that I have yet to order a new, IWB holster, due to the huge drawback of becoming a member of the "Sick Or Dead Holster Drawer" post.

Enter "Crazy Bob" via PM.

[Rob] "Hey Bill, you still on the fence about getting a Tucker Holster, the kind that will love you for life?"
[Bill] "Yeah, Rob, but well you know its purty and all but..."
[Rob] ??
[Bill] {breaks down and starts sobbing} "I just can't Rob...what if I hate it?"
[Rob] "Ha! That is your issue? Son, take a look at This Here Gar-on-teee!
[Bill] {que clouds parting, Hallelujah Chorus} "Can...can it be true? A MONEY-BACK guarantee?!"
[Rob] "Yes, its true.....and we are the only one's to offer it"

Alrighty then! I just got my mind made up, and figure I better hurry before Tucker finds out what Rob is doing!

"They're coming to take me away, he, he! They're coming to take me away, ho, ho. - Ha, ha, he, he, ho, ho!"

If you read our guarantee, you may think I've lost my mind. My wife did for a while. It just makes sense to me and I think you'll think so, too.

I'm looking forward to my own "Answer" and mag pouch arriving any day now. This one's for my Ultra CDP II. And then, I just couldn't resist (looked at the gallery too much), I ordered an HF1, matching gunbelt and double mag carrier for my Desert Warrior. These are all in black cherry, w/ cross-cut full stamp, and Texas concho on the holster. I'll post pics when they arrive in a few weeks. Some things are just too good to pass up!

By the way, if you haven't checked out the blog, visit this link: http://www.tuckergunleatherblog.com . Lots of good stuff there!

Your Answer is boxed up and will ship tomorrow - unless you want me to hold it until your HF1 is ready.

There are a few Texas gunstores that have some inventory. Some are still active distributors, some are not but have some inventory left.

The internet sales are primary.

In Houston, Collector's Firearms at Richmond and Fondren has some inventory left, though they are not buying any more from Tucker. That's your best bet.

Also keep in mind our Satisfaction for Life Guarantee . You can't keep a Tucker holster you don't want.

If you make it to the Austin area... "The Gun Store" in Cedar Park stocks them. They don't have every model that Tucker makes, but they do have a few of them if you just wanted to get an idea of the quality or see if they had one that called to you.

But seriously, you can't go wrong ordering from them online. No chance of a great holster ending up in the unused holster box just because it didn't work for you.

Shooter's Station on 105west in Conroe stocks Tucker. Mr. Longenecker will know better than I if that relationship is still good, but as of tonight there was a larger inventory of Tucker leather.

Shooter's Station is an active dealer and good to deal with.
