City sponsored 4th of July celebration
Can you carry at a city park? The website says no weapons ( guns or knives) I haven't seen a 30.06 sign.

Watching the local news in Houston last night, they had segments on the fireworks show down in Eleanor Tinsley Park. Every time the reporter closed the segment (maybe 4 times over 2 hours), she said, "and remember, no food and no guns" (her emphasis).

Make sure the park is not part of COE controlled property like many parks are in Denton County. If so, carry is a no no unfortunately.

The Texas Congressmen and Senators need to put an end to that COE Nonsense.

Yes Sir, very restrictive to us outdoor type people, and to others of course. Park Rangers can't even carry. Just makes zero sense.Deltaboy wrote:The Texas Congressmen and Senators need to put an end to that COE Nonsense.

They would if they could, but that COE nonsense is federal so the solution has to happen at that level.4copas wrote:Yes Sir, very restrictive to us outdoor type people, and to others of course. How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
