Sounds like you did alright. The hi-power has an excellent reputation for a reason. I think the 1911 still beats it because, hey, I like .45, but there is no question that the hi-power is a very capable, reliable pistol.

sebis, have a look at this chart here for a size comparison. I've never shot one, but I did handle one. It's a tiny gun for 9mm. It seemed a little small to be controllable, especially for that cartridge, but like I said, I haven't shot one.
